New Management

We, the children of the company's founder Bernhard Bauer, who sadly passed away at the beginning of 2023, Lucia Scheige and Noah Scheige, have taken over the management. In line with our father's vision and the company's philosophy of Treibholz, we continue to offer high-quality organic and natural products at a fair price. As an ecological company, we have placed the highest value on resource-saving and sustainable work and production methods for over 40 years, which is also reflected in our CO2-neutral wooden company building since 2018.

History and Philosophy - Pioneers of Organic Products since 1978

Wyhl 1975: On the construction site of the planned nuclear power plant in the town of Wyhl, Baden, a new citizens' movement emerges. They prevent the construction of the plant and become a model for the emerging anti-nuclear movement. Among them are the two architecture students and future founders of the company: Gabriele Krüger and Bernhard Bauer. Both gradually realize that protest is not enough and resolve to make a change. 40 years after our founding, TREIBholz GmbH – "Organic & Natural Goods since 1978" has moved to its new company headquarters in the Glehner Heide industrial park.
