Note: Deodorising is a particularly gentle process. There is no chemistry used and it works purely physically. For this reason, deodorization is also allowed for organic oils.
The vegetable oil is treated with water vapor to remove unwanted substances such as flavorings and dyes. A deodorized oil is odorless and tasteless.
