Production
The soaps by Savon du Midi are handmade in Provence, France. Soap making from plant-based oils has a long-standing tradition around the Mediterranean, particularly in southern France – especially in Marseille and Provence. Only vegetable oils from certified organic cultivation are used in the saponification process. After saponification, the final formulation includes the addition of shea butter and, depending on the variety, honey, fragrance, or essential oils.

Savon du Midi soaps are crafted using traditional expertise rooted in the Provençal soap-making heritage. This predominantly artisanal process ensures a high-quality, mild, and nourishing soap.

No animal fats are used in any of the soaps.
