Production
The soaps by Savon du Midi are handcrafted in Provence, France. Soap making using vegetable oils has a long-standing tradition around the Mediterranean, particularly in southern France – notably in Marseille and Provence. Only vegetable oils from certified organic cultivation are used in the saponification process. After saponification, the final processing includes the addition of shea butter and, depending on the variety, honey, fragrance, or essential oils.

Savon du Midi soaps are made with traditional expertise rooted in the Provençal soap-making tradition. This predominantly artisanal method results in a high-quality, mild, and nourishing soap.

No animal fats are used in any of the soaps.
