Production
The soaps by Savon du Midi are handmade in Provence, France. Soap making using vegetable oils has a long tradition throughout the Mediterranean, particularly in southern France – especially in Marseille and Provence. Only vegetable oils from certified organic cultivation are used in the saponification process. After saponification, the final processing includes the addition of shea butter and, depending on the variety, honey, fragrance, or essential oils.

Savon du Midi soaps are produced with traditional expertise rooted in the Provençal soap-making craft. This predominantly artisanal method results in a high-quality, mild, and nourishing soap.

No animal fats are used in any of the soaps.
