Production
The soaps by Savon du Midi are handmade in Provence, France. Soap making with vegetable oils has a long-standing tradition in the Mediterranean region, especially in southern France – particularly in Marseille and Provence. Only vegetable oils from certified organic cultivation are used in the saponification process. After saponification, the final processing includes the addition of shea butter and, depending on the variety, honey, fragrance, or essential oils.

Savon du Midi soaps are made using traditional expertise in the Provençal soap-making craft. This predominantly artisanal production method results in a high-quality, mild, and nourishing soap.

No animal fats are used in any of the soaps.
