Production
The soaps by Savon du Midi are crafted in Provence, France. Soap making using vegetable oils has a long-standing tradition throughout the Mediterranean, particularly in southern France, with a focus on Marseille and Provence. Only vegetable oils from certified organic cultivation are used in the saponification process. After saponification, the final processing includes the addition of shea butter and, depending on the variety, honey, fragrance, or essential oils.

Savon du Midi soaps are made with traditional expertise in the legacy of Provençal soap craftsmanship. This predominantly artisanal production method is reflected in the quality of a mild and nurturing soap.

No animal fats are used in any of the soaps.
