Production
The soaps by Savon du Midi are crafted in Provence, France. Soap making using vegetable oils has a long-standing tradition throughout the Mediterranean, especially in southern France – with Marseille and Provence as its focal points. Only vegetable oils from certified organic cultivation are used in the saponification process. After saponification, the final processing includes the addition of shea butter and, depending on the variety, honey, fragrance, or essential oils.

Savon du Midi soaps are produced with traditional expertise rooted in the Provençal soap-making tradition. This predominantly artisanal production method results in a high-quality, mild, and nurturing soap.
