Production
The soaps by Savon du Midi are handmade in Provence, France. Soap making with vegetable oils has a long-standing tradition around the Mediterranean, particularly in southern France – especially in Marseille and Provence. Only vegetable oils from certified organic cultivation are used in the saponification process. After saponification, the final processing includes the addition of shea butter and, depending on the variety, honey, fragrance, or essential oils.

Savon du Midi soaps are crafted with traditional expertise rooted in the Provençal soap-making tradition. This predominantly artisanal production method ensures a mild and nourishing soap of the highest quality.

No animal fats are used in any of the soaps.
