The soaps of Savon du Midi are made in Provence in France. Soap production from vegetable oils has a long tradition around the Mediterranean. Her focus in the south of France is Marseille and Provence. For the production of the soap in the saponification process only vegetable oils from certified organic cultivation (kbA) are used. After saponification, shea butter and, depending on the variety, honey, perfume or essential oil are added to the final processing. Savon du Midi soaps are made with the traditional know-how in the tradition of Provencal soap production. This predominantly artisanal production is reflected in the quality of a mild and nourishing soap.
