Production
Savon du Midi shea butter soaps are handcrafted in Provence, France. Soap making using vegetable oils has a long tradition throughout the Mediterranean, particularly in southern France – especially in Marseille and Provence. Only vegetable oils from certified organic cultivation are used in the saponification process. After saponification, the final processing includes the addition of shea butter and, depending on the variety, honey, fragrance, or essential oils.

Savon du Midi soaps are produced using traditional expertise rooted in Provençal soap-making. This predominantly artisanal production method ensures a high-quality, gentle, and nourishing soap.
No animal fats are used in any of the soaps.
